Karen Hildebrand's debut collection of poetry is now available: CROSSING PLEASURE AVENUE (Indolent Books 2018). Her work has also been published in numerous journals and nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize. She has been featured reader in NYC with the Bryant Park Reading Room, Leah Umansky's Couplet series, great weather for MEDIA and Pete's Big Salmon Poetry Series. In 2013, her play "The Old In-and-Out" sold out four shows at Stage Left Studio Theater in NYC. Directed by Kat Georges of Three Rooms Press, the play was adapted from poetry of Karen Hildebrand and Madeline Artenberg. In 2017, she had the honor of co-editing Jane Underwood's posthumous collection, "When My Heart Goes Dark, I Turn the Porch Light On," (Blue Light Press, 2017). Karen lives in Brooklyn and works as chief content officer for Dance Magazine.
